The Goose Creek Airport

Located 15 miles southeast of downtown Charlotte, NC, Goose Creek Airport is a cozy country airport used as a base for flight training and as home port for some 25 privately owned airplanes and ultralight aircraft. Goose Creek Airport has a single paved, lighted runway measuring 2,350 feet long by 35 feet wide. The small, challenging nature of the airport layout makes it an ideal place for student pilots to build confidence in their control of aircraft.

For private aircraft owners, the airport offers outdoor parking for aircraft, aircraft maintenance, fuel sales of 100LL Avgas, and the option to build their own hanger. Their is also a casual pilot lounge for relaxing after a tough lesson or telling flying stories (known as "hanger flying"), as well as a pilot supply shop that offers charts, books, and accessories.

The Goose Creek Pilot's Lounge offers all the comforts of home!!
